Richard Blackwood (EastEnders, Hollyoaks) stars in Typical a powerful play, exploring racism and how British society stereotypes Black masculinity.
Based on a true story it was first performed to critical acclaim at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe and later a sell out Soho Theatre transfer, Typical uncovers the man and the humanity behind the tragic true-life events of Black British ex-serviceman Christopher Alder and the injustice that still remains twenty years since his story emerged.
