More than 50,000 new cases a day and rising the government has been forced to take action. There has now been more than a million covid-19 cases in the UK so far. 1.6 billion pound was lost in April ,May and June in retails many fear this could be the final blow for many businesses. The prime minister has unveiled new measures that apply to the whole of England that come into effect from 12:01am on Thursday, November 5. They are expected to last until December 2. The latest UK figures showed more than 21,000 cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to over one million overall.
