This week the LFF named the 12 writers, directors and producers to take part in its annual NETWORK @LFF professional development programme. Adepeju is among 12 participants selected from 470 applications.
Alt grabbed a quick quote from Adepeju he said. “It feels incredible to be selected for this development scheme, I applied last year but wasn’t selected so to be a part of this year’s programme is absolutely wonderful. Excited to meet my fellow filmmakers and really soak up all the knowledge and insight throughout the 4 day programme”.
The BFI NETWORK scheme, runs from October 4-7 during the LFF, where participants will take part in masterclasses, screenings, networking and one-to-one sessions with the visiting international filmmakers and executives who are screening work at the event. The 2019 focus is on filmmakers working on international co-productions or committed to making films for an international audience.
Previous alumni of the lottery-backed programme include Adeyemi Michael (2018), Amrou Al-Khadi (2016), Jenn Nkiru (2017), Prano Bailey-Bond (2017) and Sandhya Suri (2016).
