beyond….Nubuke, BBFA & Chale Wote presents Dispersed

Dispersed  Exhibition & Artist Talk When: August 16-22nd 2017

The Black British Female Art (BBFA) Collective in partnership with the

Nubuke Foundation and Chale Wote Street Art Festival present…Dispersed an exhibition and artist talk taking place in Ghana this August.

3 Black British (Adelaide Damoah, Arlene Wandera, Enam Gbewonyo-BBFA Founder) and 3 Ghanaian female artists (Samira Saidi, Latifah Iddriss, Dorothy Amenuke) will form a unique collaboration.

The BBFA is a group of six women who aim to tell the stories of the black diaspora and increase the visibility of black women in British the art world.

The project, Dispersed, is part of the Chale Wote Street Art Festival, an alternative festival celebrating art, music and performance in the streets of Accra. Inspired by this year’s festival theme, Wata Mata, the artists will come together in a discussion of the symbolism of dispersal.
