As part of Africa Utopia, this Friday the Royal Festival Hall will host an amazing event: An Evening of Afrofuturism will drag you into sound and visuals collision in an Afro-futuristic multi-artform experience. Travelling from an unknown past to unseen futures, Cosmic Ashoke will explore Afro-futuristic poetry and music through unique visual and auditory experiences.
Expect pop-up performances and diasporic storytelling, as we journey through the tradition of the Griot to modern day black British futurism. Featuring sets from Zena Edwards, Transits and Theresa Lola and Jacob V Joyce.
