Harry Potter and the Cursed Child – Palace Theatre

Takes home a historical record-breaking 9 Olivier Awards on Sunday 9th April at the Royal Albert Hall. Harry Potter has become the most nominated play in Olivier history, with 11 nominations. The play is at the palace theatre.

Dreamgirls – Savoy Theatre

DREAMGIRLS was nominated for five Olivier Awards including the Mastercard Best New Musical, Best Actress in a Musical, Adam J Bernard for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Musical, Henry Krieger for Outstanding Achievement in Music and Gregg Barnes for Best Costume Design -Savoy Theatre.

Best Actress in a Musical – Amber Riley as “Effie White” and Adam J Bernard for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Musical, for his performance as ‘Jimmy Early’

American actress and singer Amber Riley best known for her role as ‘Mercedes Jones’ in Golden Globe Award-winning musical comedy, Glee. Making her stage debut in 2012 in   New York City Center’s Duke Ellington’s Cotton Club Parade. The actress delivered a fitting breath taking performance at the Olivier awards show.
