Croydonites Festival is back this year with a fantastic line-up of innovative and exciting shows taking over the town centre.
On Wednesday 15 October, Croydonites will screen
salt: dispersed (Film) by Selina Thompson, followed by a post-show conversation featuring Carolyn ML Forsyth, Executive Director and Joint CEO of Talawa Theatre Company.
About the Film
salt: dispersed is the film of Selina Thompson’s award-winning live performance salt, which retraces one of the routes of the Transatlantic Slave Triangle — from the UK to Ghana to Jamaica and back. With plain-talking humour, poetry and deep emotion, it explores themes of home, displacement and history.
