We’re also thrilled to see the Care Bear Christmas merchandise hit the shelves for the first time in 2023. The incredible support from One Stop means we can be there for more children and young people with cancer across the UK.”

Jack Taylor, Community and Partnerships Manager at One Stop explains the importance of supporting the charities: “Our colleagues have taken both charities into their hearts as many of us have been touched by cancer or Alzheimer’s. We’re so proud of this year’s merchandise and we’re really hoping the proceeds we raise from the sales of the festive range will make a real difference to both Young Lives vs Cancer and Alzheimer’s Society.”

This year the convenience retailer has already raised an impressive £90,000 for Young Lives vs Cancer, helping the charity support children and young people (aged 0-25 years old) as well as their families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. As well as this, One Stop also raised £40,000 for Alzheimer’s Society – of whom has been a partnered charity of the retailer for the last 5 years.

Kate Lee, CEO of Alzheimer’s Society, said: “We are very grateful to have been a charity partner with One Stop since 2019, and hugely appreciate their efforts in raising vital funds through their range of festive merchandise.

“The urgency to meet the challenge posed by dementia is greater than ever, and the money raised will help develop life-changing services, campaign to make dementia the priority it should be, and continue to fund ground-breaking research that will change the future of the disease.”
