Dr Mark Prince OBE, Kiyan’s father and founder of the Kiyan Prince Foundation, said: “We can’t think of a better way to honour Kiyan’s legacy than celebrating his life and bringing people together for a football match like no other. The Kiyan Prince Foundation is all about turning adversity into positive energy, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone to Loftus Road and continue empowering, educating and coaching young people to become their best selves.”

Saturday 20th May 2023 will see two star-studded teams come together in aid of the Kiyan Prince Foundation, to commemorate the 17th anniversary of Kiyan Prince’s untimely death.
Kicking off at 3pm, the match will see two teams of celebrities and ex-professional footballers go head to head at Loftus Road Stadium, including football legend Harry Redknapp managing, as well as actor David Harewood OBE and former Liverpool and Man City goalkeeper David James playing.

The charity fundraising match will celebrate the life of Kiyan Prince, who was fatally stabbed in 2006 after attempting to break up a fight at his school at the age of 15.
The Kiyan Prince Foundation, founded and led by Kiyan’s father Dr Mark Prince OBE after his son’s tragic death, works to empower young people by applying and building their character to drive their success.
