What Gary Lineker said that led to BBC making Match of the Day decision his “an immeasurably cruel policy” view

#MOTD Ian Wright and Alan Shearer Stand Down for Todays Match of The Day in Solidarity with @garylineker ALT A REVIEW stands boldly with #Lineker in an age where people talking out against injustice and #inequality are branded #woke and silenced.

What Lineker said ““There is no huge influx. We take far fewer refugees than other major European countries.

“This is just an immeasurably cruel policy directed at the most vulnerable people in language that is not dissimilar to that used by Germany in the 30s, and I’m out of order?”

The @bbc is wrong to suspend Lineker. This has followed with a huge public and celebrity outcry in support for the Football Presenter.

Even @piersmorganuncensored mockingly DEMANDS the BBC ‘suspend every presenter who has made public comment’. Which lead to a heated debate with #AlanSugar.
@wrightyofficial said yesterday “Everybody knows what Match of the Day means to me, but I’ve told the #BBC I won’t be doing it tomorrow. Solidarity.

@alanshearer also followed with “I have informed the BBC that I won’t be appearing on MOTD tomorrow night”

Other presenters have also pulled out. Many are pointing to how pro Tory the BBC is with the current BBC chairman Richard Sharp embroiled in loan scandal for #BorisJohnson when he was prime minister.

Since #FinalScore and #Footballfocus had been taken of the air as presenter in a big programming crisis unfolding for the BBC. #Radio 5 Live has also been pulled.
