DAR LEONE:
Dar Leone is an Islington, London based design studio founded by Sierra Leonean-American, Isatu Funna.
Create and curate a globally inspired range of jewellery, textiles, wallpaper, cushions and objects inspired by Isatu’s travels around the world and her memories of a childhood in Freetown. From the ancient Nomoli figures carved in soapstone and found in Sierra Leone to the geometry of a metal gate handworked by artisans in Freetown.
With each the designs, they’re a reimagine traditional West African textiles in unexpected tones of cerise pink, mustard yellow or chocolate brown as seen in Dea Hots Tropic Marine, the first collection.

Bespoke Binny is a British based business offering a range of handmade homeware and gifts items made from West African cloth.
Living and working in London, as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, Natalie recognised the importance of one’s home environment, in coping with issues such as anxiety and low mood.
Being of Ghanaian descent, Natalie grew up being surrounded by vibrant colours and prints, which she found to be uplifting, as a child. Motivated by her experience and love of sewing, Natalie went on built an eclectic homeware brand rooted in African expression.

The Cornrow was founded by two sisters, Kemi (big sis) and Lara (little sis) as a love letter to their dual African and Caribbean heritage.
