Herbie Hancock Starts European Tour in Barcelona

Herbie Hancock is heading to Europe to begin his Fall Tour tomorrow night in Barcelona before criss-crossing continental Europe and the UK over the next six weeks. He will be joined by long-time collaborators James Genus on bass and Lionel Loueke on guitar as well as new friends Justin Tyson on drums and Elena Pinderhughes on Flute (through November 17th).

Herbie and the band will explore his classic repertoire as well as some newer material that he continues to introduce to audiences worldwide. The tour sees the band touch down in twenty-five cities, while visiting twelve countries on the run, including his most-extensive tour of Germany in a decade, with ten shows in the country over the six week run. A can’t miss collaboration between Herbie and his band with Gustavo Dudamel and the LA Philharmonic at the Barbican on October 19th highlights the trip, repeating their appearance together at Disney Hall last fall.

In addition, in March 2020, Herbie will perform as part of Power To The People! in Los Angeles at the Walt Disney Concert Hall with Gustavo Dudamel and the LA Philharmonic! For full tour details and tickets click  here
