Alt A has teamed up with BUFF to offer our readers 2 pairs of tickets to their Opening Night Gala on 1st September.

The Film: Lara and the Beat (Dir: Tosin Coker)

Seyi Shay and Somkele Iyamah star as the young and beautiful Giwa sisters who are caught in the centre of a financial scandal with their late parents’ media empire. Consequently, they are forced out of their privileged bubble and must learn to build their own future – through music and enterprise – to salvage their family’s legacy. Also starring Vector (the Viper), Chinedu Ikedieze, Toni Tones & Wale Ojo.

This film has been nominated for best feature at the 2019 BUFF Awards on Saturday 7 September.

ABOUT BUFF: 

The British Urban Film Festival (BUFF) was formed in July 2005 to showcase urban independent cinema in the absence of any such state-sponsored activity in the UK. The festival is supported by filmmakers and British actors, the organisation was set up by Emmanuel Anyiam-Osigwe and established as BUFF Enterprises Ltd.
