The Home Office is branded racist for trying to get the message of #knifecrime directly to “criminals” by putting messages on fried chicken boxes across England and Wales. Many feel that this is extremely undermining to ignore the very obvious stereotyping. The anti-knife crime adverts are causing offence: with many feeling it is a waste of government spending when money would be better spent on correct policing, crime prevention and finding the route of the problem.
