Shared readings in celebration of Toni Morrison’s life and work,  hosted by Kwame Kwei-Armah.

‘We die. That may be the meaning of life. But we do language. That may be the measure of our lives.’ – Toni Morrison

Join the Young Vic for an evening of shared readings in celebration of the life of Toni Morrison.

To mark the one month anniversary of Toni Morrison’s recent passing, audiences are invited to the Young Vic on Thursday 5 September to join Kwame Kwei-Armah in reading aloud their favourite passages and quotes from her work and life. For those who would prefer not to read aloud, there will be readers present who can share audience members’ chosen passages on their behalf.

The event will last approximately 90mins and is free but ticketed.

Performances – Thursday 5 September, 6.30pm

Tickets will be available to book online from from 12pm on Tuesday 13 August.
