Disney’s Christopher Robin continues its successful reign at the top of the UK box office for the second consecutive weekend in a row.

The live action adventure starring Ewan McGregor and Hayley Atwell, alongside Winnie The Pooh and his loveable friends, held off strong competition from Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again to be top for a second week, grossing a total to date of £7.9million following the bank holiday weekend.

In the heartwarming live action adventure Disney’s Christopher Robin, the young boy who shared countless adventures with his band of lovable stuffed animals in the Hundred Acre Wood is now grown up and living in London but he has lost his way. Now it is up to his childhood friends to venture into our world and help Christopher Robin rediscover the joys of family life, the value of friendship and to appreciate the simple pleasures in life once again. The film, directed by Marc Forster, stars Ewan McGregor, Hayley Atwell, Mark Gatiss and Bronte Carmichael as well as the voices of Jim Cummings, Brad Garrett, Peter Capaldi, Sophie Okonedo, Toby Jones and Nick Mohammed.

As the holidays come to an end organise a fun day out for the children… film and ice cream all round Hooray!
