Africa in Motion and Film Africa: Young Audiences holding a FREE CPD event for teachers, celebrating African cinema for learning and showcasing unique African film packages and teaching resources.

Classic African Animation & Race Relations in the UK, featuring the films: Jemima and Johnny + Rage

This workshop will

  • Offer free access to a rich film and resource package designed to deepen understanding of race relations in Britain and celebrate the diversity of African / African British cultural heritage.
  • Showcase how the resources can be used creatively and innovatively in the classroom
  • Connect your school to exciting cultural offers celebrating African heritage in the UK.

Please note, this event is only open those currently employed as teachers:

Primary school teachers – all subjects, Literacy Co-ordinators, EAL specialists, school leaders.
