Following the screening, the cast and creatives took part in an exclusive Q&A hosted by #BAFTA-nominated TV Presenter Alison Hammond.

Yerin Ha on what it is like joining Bridgerton: “For me it’s an amazing gift, I think that’s what we dream as an actor is to be on a show that is watched by a lot a people…but joining this season knowing that Bridgerton has the success behind it, it’s been so lovely. Everyone was so welcoming, everyone was so kind, and I felt so held and supported, throughout the entire season… It’s honestly been the best job in my career so far”

Luke Thompson on getting ready on becoming the lead: “The beauty of Bridgerton is every single season it regenerates and it really does take the new couple on their own journey. There isn’t a fear or a pressure to try and top what has been done before. He’s Benedict, he’s a different character. He’s such an atypical romantic hero in a way. It’s genuinely the easiest job in the world when you are surrounded by so many people at the top of their game.”

Director and Executive Producer Tom Verica on how they bring #Bridgerton to life: “we do have lengthy discussions about visually what we want to achieve, but it does all start with the script. We got to go into the staff and the downstairs life, and the fact that Sophie is part of that world really enabled us to explore a different way to come into this season, even to the point of designing the sets. For example, Sophie’s apartment lodge is a lot smaller, making it challenging to shoot, but it really illustrates the difference between the Bridgerton decadence that we’ve come to know, and really seeing how the other half lives.”
Yerin on Sophie finding love in herself: “She does go on this massive journey. I think it teaches a really important message about dignity and self respect and self love, and then you’re able to go out and accept love for yourself.”

Luke on Benedict trying to keep living in a fantasy with his relationship with Sophie: “A lot of the journey for Benedict is engaging in the real world, but keeping that spark of fantasy alive and staying true to who he is as well.”

Showrunner Jess Brownell on what she wants people to take away this season from #Bridgerton: “We talk a lot this season about the things that are between fantasy and reality and how true love can exist somewhere in between the two. It’s really about bravery for me. For Sophie, it’s about being brave enough to dream, and believe in more for her life, and believe that she deserves love and to fight for herself. And for Benedict, it’s being brave enough to take a risk for love, and in any part of our lives, I think we can all stand to be a little bit braver and to stand up for ourselves.”
