The premiere screening for her-storical extravaganza ‘SIX the Musical Live!’ took place this evening at London’s Ham Yard Hotel, ahead of its release in UK and Ireland cinemas on 6th April 2025. Filmed at London’s Vaudeville Theatre, SIX the Musical Live! features the six original West End queens – Jarnéia Richard-Noel, Millie O’Connell, Natalie Paris, Alexia McIntosh, Aimie Atkinson and Maiya Quansah-Breed – each reprising their roles for a one-off, showstopping cinematic experience. All of the above cast attended the exclusive premiere event, alongside SIX the Musical creators Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, producers Kenny Wax, Wendy & Andy Barnes, George Stiles and Dione Orrom, and film director Liz Clare. Musician and presenter Myleene Klass hosted the evening.

Also in attendance were actors Lucie Jones, Susan Wokoma, Rob Madge, Grace Mouat and Tobias Turley, content creators Hannah Lowther, Louise Pentland, AJ Clementine and Sam Williams, and drag artist Le Fil among many others.

The screening was introduced by Myleene Klass, who said she was “so, so excited to be here – SIX is more than just a musical – it’s become a phenomenon.” She also joked “the film will be in cinemas from April 6 – it’s certainly no coincidence that that’s my birthday, so mark your calendars!”. When introducing the cast of ‘SIX the Musical Live!’ to the stage, Myleene continued on to say that it was “such an honour” to be hosting the event, and to “get to be an honorary queen!”
Natalie Paris, who plays Jane Seymour in SIX! the Musical Live!, said “for people who don’t have access to theatre, we are literally bringing it to you. It’s like having the best seat in the house to this amazing show!”. Maiya Quansah-Breed, who plays Catherine Parr, added “when I got that call saying I would get to work with my girls again, I was like, say no more! Getting the opportunity to do this together – I am still speechless. It’s iconic.”

The screening was followed by a lively after party, featuring sing-a-long piano performances, a DJ, and exclusive preview of a new track that the cast have been working on, due to be released soon… Attendees were seen enjoying themed cocktails such as the “Purple Reign” alongside charcuterie and cheeses laid out on a Tudor-inspired banquet table.
Watched by audiences of over 3.5 million, the box office smash-hit and double TONY award-winning SIX the Musical has reigned supreme as a global theatre phenomenon since its 2017 debut at Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, this musical for the ages sees the six queens – Catherine of Aragon (Richard-Noel), Anne Boleyn (O’Connell), Jane Seymour (Paris), Anna of Cleves (McIntosh), Katherine Howard (Atkinson) and Catherine Parr (Quansah-Breed) – take back the microphone through a series of empowering performances, accompanied by an electrifying musical score. The Queens are supported by the sensational on-stage band, the Ladies in Waiting.
