Ronnie Scott’s August 2023 Listings

Ronnie Scott’s programme from the international jazz scene, will welcome two generations of US vocalists, veteran singer CARMEN LUNDY and relative newcomer MELANIE CHARLES.  From Switzerland they have pianist NIK BARTSCH and from Japan, SOIL & PIMP who will bring their acid/ultra-high-energy jazz!

They also welcome the very best of the UK scene: vocalists RUBY TURNER and IAN SHAW, pianist REUBEN JAMESTHE JAMES TAYLOR QUARTETLIGHT OF THE WORLD, Scottish band MAMA TERRA, sax player (and broadcaster) LEO GREEN and drum and bass legend GOLDIE.

Some friendly faces will also be back: W3BLUES EXPLOSIONRONNIE SCOTT’S JAZZ ORCHESTRA and SOUL FAMILY who will celebrate the summer with a brand new act called “A Philly Soul Summer Festival”.

Main shows

Main shows at Ronnie’s are spread across two sittings, with early show doors at 5:30pm for a 6:30pm start and second house doors opening at 8:30pm for a 9:15pm start. On single houses that we have on Mondays and Tuesdays (check website) doors open at 6pm for a 7.30pm start. On Sundays the doors open at 12pm and 6.30pm for one sitting.

Upstairs @ Ronnie’s offers guests the opportunity to experience some of the best up and coming vocalists and instrumentalists on the London scene, from Monday to Saturday varying from jazz and samba sets to guitar duos and Club DJ Mike Vitti and friends spinning soul, funk and rare groove vinyl on Saturday nights.
