The stars of theatre, on stage, behind the scenes, and UK celebrities descended on the National Theatre for 2022 BBTA one of the biggest nights in theatre and in its forth year, including Leee John, Sinitta, Brian Bovell to name a few.
Danny Sapani (Actor; Black Panther, Star Wars, Killing Eve) returned to present the ceremony again this year.

Beginning with an introduction by Clint Dyer (Deputy Artistic Director of The National Theatre, Director; Othello, Ali, Death of England: Parts 1, 2, and 3; Get Up Stand Up! The Bob Marley Musical).

Dyer said in his introduction. “The contribution of Black British artist to this country and the world beyond is immeasurable, creative inspiration are an example of many of the people in this room tonight over the last year and for decades have been deprived”
