Following a recent stay in hospital, Prince Philip has died not far from his 100 birthday. The Queen announced the death in the last hour. The end of a 73 year marriage: A statement read; “It is with deep that Her Majesty the Queen announced the death of her beloved husband HRH Prince Philip”
He set up the Duke of Edinburgh Award which allowed thousand s of young people to benefit. He retired from Royal duty at 94. He passed away peacefully this morning.
