As part of M·A·C Cosmetics’ ongoing commitment to advancing equality, inclusion and justice, the brand today announced it is investing resources, products and £100,000 over the next 10 months to local organisations, charities and creators across the UK & Ireland.
“The M·A·C community has asked us to build momentum and to not just be allies through words but continue to do so through more tangible actions. We are incredibly proud to do just that with these recent commitments to advancing inclusion and diversity within our workforce and larger makeup Artistry community,” said Fiona Sainty, M·A·C Cosmetics UK & Ireland Vice President General Manager.
As part of this commitment, M·A·C UK & Ireland have pledged to invest in meaningful partnerships, with more to come:
• Incredible Brilliant Youth: M·A·C will partner with the non-profit organization to support their artistry course for young and aspiring makeup Artists and provide students with iconic M·A·C products for their kits.
• Ballet Black: To support diversity in dance, M·A·C will donate to its longstanding partners, Ballet Black, to support their ongoing work to drive equality for dancers of Black and Asian descent.
• Emerging Talent: M·A·C will fund an exciting creative scholarship to support minority students in the fashion industry – more details to be shared soon.
M·A·C also remains committed to advancing its long legacy of working with leading and emerging creators for its campaigns, with more specific partnerships in the UK & Ireland to be announced in the coming months.
