Congrats to Spike Lee for his Best Director and Best Film nomination and David John Washington for Best Actor!!! The Green Book follows Vice who lead with 6 nominations with 5. BlacKkKlansman has 4 and Black Panther and If Beale Street Could Talk have 3. Barry Jenkin’s If Beale Street Could Talk was nominated for Best Screenplay.  In line with ALT’s new section SheCan we have to point out that no female directors have been nominated!!
