To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Pokémon animated series, the new animated feature film was only in the cinema for 2 days. The film takes you back to the origins of the Pokémon saga, recapping Ash’s first days as a trainer and meeting best friend the electric mouse Pikachu.
I Choose You is a modern spin on the story introducing new characters like Verity and Sorrel who replace Misty and Brock, and the involvement of all-new legendary Pokémon, Marshado. Pokémon has a cult following which was evident in the press screenings, which had some “fans” getting the chance to see the film first. It is definitely a treat for Pokéfans young and old.
