Sampha: Mercury prize winner Sampha Sisay, AKA Sampha, is a British singer, songwriter and record producer from Morden, South London. His introduction to music came from learning to play on the piano at his parents’ home and absorbing records given to him by his older siblings.
His career began in 2007, when Sampha met London producer Kwes who guided and introduced him to musicians, Mica “Micachu” Levi, Ghostpoet, DELS and his now label-home, Young Turks, in 2009. Through Young Turks, Sampha remixed ‘Basic Space’ by The xx and met his earliest collaborators, SBTRKT, Jessie Ware, Bullion and Lil Silva Sampha and many more. Sampha’s debut album, Process, was released on 3 February 2017, through Young Turks and won the Hyundai Mercury prize 2017. At the ceremony Sampha performed (No One Knows Me) Like the Piano, one of the most heartbreaking and beautiful singles of the year.

Petite Noir: Yannick Ilunga AKA Petite Noir, is a Belgian born, Congolese singer, songwriter, musician, and record producer from Cape Town. Noir was one half of Popskarr with record producer and DJ Terrence Pearce, and a member of the creative collective Capital of Cool.
His debut extended play The King of Anxiety was released in January 2015 and his debut studio album La vie est belle / Life Is Beautiful was released in September of the same year both with Double Six Records.

Fortune Shumba: Born and raised in Mpumalanga, and living between Nelspruit and Johannesburg, Fortune has been actively writing and recording music since 2013. His debut single “Free Heart” an incredibly emotional, sweet and heartbreaking account of his everyday life, was filled with poignant lyrics. Shumba writes about personal experiences with a moving and delicate touch, and his life keeps shaping his work, influencing him to create music that’s reflective and brimming with feeling. The artist signed in 2015 to Tshepang Ramoba’s record label POST POST with which recorded his first EP ‘Dawn’ and his last work ‘Daylight’, both available on many platforms.

Kunle Ayo: South African Multi-Award winning Jazz guitarist is probably the most celebrated guitarists in the continent. He has earned several musical awards, and has participated in a number of jazz festivals, notably the Standard Bank Joy of Jazz International Jazz Festival, the Cape Town International Jazz Festival, Mapungubwe Jazz Festival in Limpopo, Tzaneen Jazz Festival, Go-Jazz Festival at the Jazz Café, London with a host of others.
