First Word’s NZ-hailing Myele Manzanza brings his infectious blend of acid jazz and African rhythm to east London’s vibrant Archspace.

From a young age Myele’s childhood love was hip and dance music, an added influence to his diverse take on music. His latest LP, OnePointOne, has received great reviews. The strings, the guest vocalists- each independant detail adds an extra layer of depth and resonance to the songs.”

Earning a reputation as a composer with a vision, a producer, a musician who’s experimental attitude pays off and a mesmerizing drummer, he has been recognised by dance legends like Theo Parish.

With formidable international buzz, this heavyweight funk and soul, jazz and African talent is an atmospheric delicacy that can’t go unheard.
