The 2026 EE BAFTA Film Awards were a huge night for cinema, with trophies shared across 12 standout films. One Battle After Another dominated with 6 wins, including Best Film, Director, Adapted Screenplay, Supporting Actor, Cinematography and Editing. Frankenstein and Sinners each collected 3 awards, while Hamnet, I Swear and Zootropolis 2 also made their mark alongside Avatar: Fire and Ash, F1, Boong, Mr. Nobody Against Putin, My Father’s Shadow and Sentimental Value.

One Battle After Another led the pack with 6 awards, including Best Film, Director, Adapted Screenplay, Supporting Actor, Cinematography and Editing.
Frankenstein picked up 3 craft prizes, recognised in Costume Design, Make Up & Hair, and Production Design.
Sinners also took 3 awards, for Supporting Actress, Original Screenplay and Original Score.
Hamnet won 2 awards: Outstanding British Film and Leading Actress for Jessie Buckley.
I Swear scored 2 wins, including Leading Actor for Robert Aramayo and Casting.
Zootropolis 2 triumphed in Animated Film.
Avatar: Fire and Ash was honoured for Special Visual Effects
F1 was recognised for its Sound.
Boong won Children’s & Family Film.
Mr. Nobody Against Putin was named Best Documentary.
My Father’s Shadow took Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer.
Sentimental Value won Film Not in the English Language.
Distributors and studios also had notable showings, with Warner Bros. Discovery leading the field with 9 wins across One Battle After Another and Sinners.
