The Thames ahead of the weekend
World-renowned F1 driver Sir Lewis Hamilton speeds down the Thames in a luxury yacht as part of an epic stunt with IWC Schaffhausen whilst wearing the Pilot’s Watch Performance Chronograph 41 Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula OneTM Team in Ceratanium®, celebrating their ten-year partnership.
The IWC brand ambassador was joined by UK radio presenter, Roman Kemp, in a Best Of British stunt, speeding past iconic British monuments like the London Eye, Tate Modern and Houses of Parliament. The once in a lifetime event celebrates Lewis’ career, one most successful F1 pilots of all time.

The stunt concludes at Battersea Power Station with an exclusive IWC drinks reception hosted by Lucy Hedges and Vicki Piria, where the brand’s flagship store is located. The seven-time world champion shared fascinating insights into his career with Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One team and recalled some of the most memorable moments lived as an IWC brand ambassador. From racing a fighter jet, driving with thousands of drones in Las Vegas, and entertaining golf and basketball challenges in Miami, his ambassadorship is truly one to remember.
