Maya Jama Joins BFC Foundation
Introducing LFW June’s Guest Curators & Photographers
For London Fashion Week June 2024 presented by 1664 Blanc, BFC have commissioned guest curators to pull together an exciting programme of events informed by the incredible exhibition by guest photographers that explore the Black, South Asian and Queer communities. Guest curators include Kai-Isaiah Jamal, Clara Amfo and Simran Randhawa, with guest photographers Tami Aftab, Dani D’Ingeo and Stephen Akinyemi.
In line with the year-long celebrations of the 40th anniversary of LFW (LFW40), the new concept will spotlight London’s position as a world leading cultural capital, showcase the breadth of British menswear with a 40×40 programme of events and amplify its creative community.
Maya Jama joins BFC Community as a new member of the BFC Foundation Advisory Committee.
The new role showcases Jama’s continued commitment to supporting and championing British fashion. Maya Jama joins our BFC Foundation Fundraising Co-Chairs, Tania Fares and Narmina Marandi on the Committee, alongside Samuel Ross, Adam Baidawi, Emma Thynn Marchioness of Bath, Sabrina Elba, Yana Peel, Ruth Chapman, Caroline Rush and Chioma Nnadi.
