CasildART is a new not-for-profit Black-led gallery that showcases the work of contemporary Black artists. The gallery had a special pre-opening exhibition with EmpowerHER. (Main image Sukai with sculptor Sokari Douglas Camp credit: http://www.alt-africa.com and all images)

Set up in 2019 by Sukai Eccleston it was incorporated as a social enterprise in December 2021.

Their aim to address the lack of representation for Black artists by commercial galleries and museums and provide a platform for people with an African or Caribbean background to connect to their heritage and engage with the creative industries.
