Fans will be delighted to see Marvel share the first trailer for “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”‘
Angela Bassett (Ramonda) declares. “I am Queen of the most powerful nation in the world, and my entire family is gone.”
The trailer is driven by the lyrics of “We gonna be alright” from Kendrick Lamar’s “Alright,” panning images of Wakanda’s waterfalls , futuristic technology and what looks like a funeral with crowds of Wakandans dressed in white.
A huge question mark is posed by the trailer as a figure is seen in the hero’s suit at the end, but it is not clear who is in the costume, who will take on the mantle of the Black Panther…..
Marvel Studios’ realised the footage at the end of their panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday evening, which was introduced by a group of traditional African singers. Expected UK release 11 November 2022.
