Film Africa 2017: Win 2 Exclusive Tickets to the Opening Gala +After Party

Alt- Africa has teamed up with Film Africa London’s biggest annual celebration of the best African cinema brought to you by the Royal African Society offer one lucky winner a pair of exclusive tickets to the Opening Gala + After Party on 27th October 2017.

Launched in 2011, Film Africa is now the UK’s premier platform for African cinema and a key event in the capital’s cultural calendar. We pride ourselves in being a festival of discovery, which exists to find new creative voices emerging from Africa and its diaspora, showcasing work that would otherwise be unknown to UK audiences.

The festival this year runs from Friday 27th October to Sunday 5th November, opening with The Wound, a bold exploration of sexuality, masculinity and cultural values in modern-day South Africa. The film, which has sparked controversy and debate across the country, is also South Africa’s official entry to the 2018 Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film.
