Beyond: Florence Italy: The New Generation Festival 2018

After a magical first year, co-founders conductor Maximilian Fane, and producers Granville & Parham, have collaborated with a diverse and young team, gathering together some of the world’s most exciting music stars and promising new talent. An annual event that breaks down barriers between generations, this is a festival by new generation artists to inspire new generation audiences.

Throughout the weekend, audiences will take to the Corsini Gardens in the heart of Florence for open-air musical and dramatic performances. The programme features Don Giovanni by W.A. Mozart, Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto and Symphony No. 5, alongside a yet-to-be-announced programme of non-classical performances curated by DJ Harold Van Lennep.

This year will also host a full staging of William Shakespeare’s Henry V, never performed before with a full live orchestra, this truly theatrical event, will be set to the orchestral score by Sir William Walton.
