London: 28 March 2018 will see the second Sothebys dedicated auction of Modern and Contemporary African Art . The auction which will have a strong focus on the postcolonial era, will include a carefully selected collection of paintings, photographs, drawings and sculpture from the 20th and 21st centuries from across the African continent. Highlights from of the sale include works by Ibrahim Mahama, Njideka Akunyili Crosby and Pascale Marthine Tayou alongside works by Mohau Modisakeng, Athi-Patra Ruga, El Anatsui, Irma Stern, Nicholas Hlobo, William Kentridge and Ben Enwonwu.
